Ozark National Scenic Riverways

ozark-nsr-patchThe Ozark National Scenic Riverways wind through limestone bluffs and are interrupted by gravel bars, a common feature encountered by canoeists in these rivers. There are more than 134 miles of rivers and streams fed by springs. You might see barred owls or wild turkeys and certainly some black-eyed susans. My mom took me (Stacey) and my sister canoeing in these rivers as kids.
