mount-rainier-np-patchMount Rainier National Park is an active volcano standing at 14,410 feet. The park includes glaciers and snowfields as part of its ecosystem. As you climb Mount Rainer, you get spectacular views of Emmons Glacier. There are 26 glaciers that cap this mountain! Mount Rainier seems to stand all on its own, with its peak above the clouds. Mount Rainier has a “sister mountain” relationship with Mount Fuji and is sometimes called the Mount Fuji of the U.S.
