Death Valley National Park

death-valley-np-patchDeath Valley National Park is a land of extremes! Death Valley is the hottest, driest, and lowest of our national parks. There are mountains (Mount Whitney is the highest point in the lower 48 states), valleys, sand dunes, salt flats, desert, and even springs. This park has over 1,000 plant species and animals found nowhere else, it is very much alive! The Timbisha Shoshone people help preserve this area, its history and its stories.
