Crater Lake National Park

crater-lake-np-patchCrater Lake National Park has the deepest lake in the United States at 1,943 feet. Crater Lake rests in what’s left of the volcano called Mount Mazama. Where else do you have such a lake of clear, deep, blue water created by a volcano, with two beautiful islands and surrounded by sheer cliffs. It’s one of those places in nature that takes your breath away and fills your soul all at once.
