Bryce Canyon National Park

bryce-canyon-np-patchBryce Canyon National Park is like hiking through a stone maze of glowing orange! It’s been described as a forest of stone. One of the most accurate comments ever uttered was by a Mormon settler, Ebenezer Bryce, for whom the park is named, he said it was “a hell of a place to lose a cow.” Bryce has so many interesting formations, most recognizable though are the bizarrely shaped spires called hoodoos created by ice and water wearing away the limestone.
