Arches National Park

arches-np-patchThe beautiful rock sculptures in Arches National Park were formed by water, ice, extreme temperatures and an underground salt bed. There are over 2,000 arches. An opening has to be at least three feet to be considered an arch and the longest is Landscape Arch at 306 feet. American Indians were here for thousands of years and petroglyphs show evidence of their passing.
