Photographing Our Future!

Post image for Photographing Our Future!

So who knew that more than a year ago when  visiting Seattle,  we’d be walking right by and actually photographing our future!

The low, white building behind the Serra sculpture is our current apartment building, and I can almost see our balcony! We took this photo in the sculpture park in August 2009 with our future home in the background and had no intention at the time of ever living in Seattle . . .

Another time we photographed our future . . . Before taking off for our life on the road, we were looking through photos and happened across one we’d snapped a year prior while hiking up along the Hudson River, a bit north of Cold Spring, NY. There, in the background of a particular shot, stood the place we ended up moving into a year later when we bought our trailer. Of course,  at the time we took that photo, we had zero intention of moving out of NYC up to Cold Spring for the few months prior to beginning our life on the road adventure!

Now we look out our window here in Seattle and watch the sailboats go by and think . . . Hmmmmmm, are we glimpsing our next future?

It’s amazing how things turn out, very ironic to say the least! And yes, looking at all the sailboats that go by, I believe, is a foreshadowing of something that is bound to happen in the near future!! Maybe if you go Washington dc and take a picture of the white house in the back…..LOL Great story guys, looking foward for more to come!! Love and miss ya!

And to think that a little over a year ago, I strolled along this park with both of you….right in front of that sculpture, walked out of the park, probably right in front of your future home. If you were destined to stay a bit in Seattle, you could not ask for a more beautiful view. Funny, how life at times comes “full circle”. May the next months bring you luck, joy, and happiness.
